Journal entry by Sarah Stearns —

It is my great sorrow and heartbreak to share with you all that Kathleen's magnificent life came to a close yesterday afternoon.

Our beautiful social butterfly was never alone in life and she was not alone in death either. Kaki departed with myself and her sister, Vickie, at her side. We were able to hold her hand and assure her of her safety, her beauty, and the tidal waves of love that surrounded her. Kathleen's strength and beauty possessed her until the very end. We will miss her something terrible.

To love and have been loved by Kathleen was to experience true love - from one of it's purest wellsprings. If you were lucky enough to know her, she taught you a way to live in warmth and joy and magic. Although the world provided her opportunities to harden her heart, she never allowed it. Her name itself means "pure" and that's exactly how she lived among all of us. She continually allowed herself to fully enjoy, remain fully present, and to fully embrace life's best offerings. Ultimately, her face was towards the sunshine wherever she went. Our sweet Kathleen taught us that there is another way to this life: a way to truly thrive in wholeheartedness.

Kathleen was infinte.

"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, the light remains."
