For everyone that got to join us yesterday at Embrace church, you got to hear Travis talk about Riley’s sweet message. Travis said it perfectly, Riley’s strength getting up there to speak was amazing and unexpected. After everything Riley and Paige have been through in the past 13 days, him being able to stand up there and speak about the toughest thing he’s ever been through was pure strength.
Even though Riley has been extremely strong through everything, Travis was right, his strength was navigated by everyone’s prayers. Whether near or far, if you sent our family prayers during this extremely unbearable time, they did help. The millions of prayers may not have been able to give all of us what we ultimately wanted, Kai to stay with us here, but those prayers are helping give us strength to tackle these hard days to come.
Riley thanked everyone yesterday, but I want to reach out again and express our entire family’s sincere gratitude for all the support and prayers sent these past two weeks. The love shown is overwhelming. We are truly blessed with the best support system ever. Thank you!
Looking forward, we are about to embark on very tough times and Riley and Paige will have the roughest part of it all. Please continue to think and pray for them, their family, and friends for healing and strength.
Paige and Riley are the best parents and they gave baby Kai everything. As I said before, Kai boy was just too good for this Earth. There is a big hole in our hearts now and there won’t be a day that goes by without thinking about that sweet blue eyed baby with the saddest/cutest cry face anyone had ever seen.
As we laid baby Kai to rest for the final time yesterday, Paige sang his bedtime song to him in front of family. There were many tears but it was the most beautiful thing.

And if you ever need a friend
Momma’s gonna be there till the end
And if you’re ever down and weak
Daddy’s gonna give you the strength you need
There’s nothing in this world that we wouldn’t do
For our baby Kai cause we love you
Baby Kai we all love you so much. Watch over those sweet parents and grandparents of yours. Goodbye for now, we look forward to holding you in our hands again💙
