Newest Update

Journal entry by Heather Obara

Kaeli has finished her 6th round of chemo and is back at Madonna for a week.  She is just starting to settle down on the crazy side effects and complications of both chemo and CNS Lymphoma. Looking and feeling better than she has in a long time. Here are the big updates... we are hearing her voice again and she is working on walking and swallowing!! Long road ahead and she is not back home with her son yet, but we are finally seeing some improvement instead of new complications 🥳 🥳 Unsure of how many more rounds she needs at this point. She has to withstand this lower dose chemo before she can be given high doses to endure a stem cell transplant. BP and O2 are causing problems currently which hinder rehab but she is doing all she can do while pushing thru.

Of course Kaeli has her especially  devoted family (and their friends) standing with her but she also has such incredible friends of her own supporting her, Landon’s family that is so  supportive of her and so many friends of friends, that she has never even met, that faithfully hold her in prayer! So many stories of people, or groups of people, we don’t even know, that continue to lift Kaeli up in prayer. With all the ugly in the world- Kaeli is surrounded by beauty and love. We are so thankful for all of you -those met and those, not yet.
