Journal entry by Julie Simmonds —
Finally the news! The final biopsy showed negative for estrogen markers which means “most likely” primary benign tumor of the lung. No uterine involvement. Phew. I’ll be doing a ct scan for a baseline guide in 3 months and yearly x-rays! I think this is really good news and I’m grateful.
Recovery is going really well. The first few weeks I noticed incredible recovery from day to day and now I’ve noticed that this has slowed down and The rest of the healing process I.e muscles and nerves will take time. Normal. One step at a time.
Hopefully this is my last update. I’m a month into recovery and walking everyday towards full recovery!
Thank you with all all my heart!
