Journal entry by Julie Fiorelli

Hello,

Through God’s grace I have completed my last treatment. It was January 31, 2022. Now it is time for my body to start healing and getting strength back and just starting to begin to feel like myself again. I was so grateful to be able to zoom with my family when I rang the bell. Mitch came in town and went to the treatment with me and was able to sit with me during the treatment.  It’s the first time I actually was able to have someone with me during treatment. How special, to have my son with me for the last treatment and to be there when I rang the bell.

I am thankful to God for getting me through this. I’m very thankful for all your prayers, your well wishes, your cards, your emails, and on and on .  Martha and Mark my faithful friends have prayed every treatment for me and have brought meals to us every Wednesday for one whole year. I ask for your continued prayers for God to graciously keep cancer away forever from my body. I fought this battle and I won and I’m very proud. This is my last entry on CaringBridge. Please continue to pray for all that are continuing to fight this horrible battle with cancer. I am one of the blessed ones.
I realize that.
I don’t know where I’d be without my family. Especially my parents who have been here for every single treatment helping Bernie and I  with Natalie. Adna and Alma, “the A team” helped more than I could’ve ever asked for, I actually think Natalie is a little sad the treatments are over because they won’t be there to help pick up from school etc., Just kidding.  My sister, my best friend, has been just a single phone call away to listen to me talk endlessly about cancer, medications, treatments, complaints, and tears. I don’t know where I’d be without my best friend.
Thanks again to everyone. All my love, Julie
