Julie’s Story

Site created on September 29, 2018

Thanks so much for visiting this site. in 2010 my mom, Julie was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. She underwent a successful bone marrow transplant in the Fall of 2010. She will be heading to the James Cancer Center on October 3, 2018 to undergo another bone marrow transplant.  While this is a very difficult and painful process, we know this is just what she needs. We have been so blessed with people praying for us and wanting to know how she is doing. I hoping that this site is a way that we can communicate how she is doing with all of you. We appreciate the prayers so much. Please know that Mom does feel them and they are what helps her beat this disease. Thank you! - Ashley

Newest Update

Journal entry by Ashley Rosebrock

We are moving on up! Everything is still going the direction that the doctors and medical team hoped that it would. Praise God!

Her White Blood Count went from 0 (Saturday), .8(Sunday), 1.63 (Monday) and today it is 5.72!

She still has nausea which makes her not want to eat anything. They are going to try some steroids today to help with that and hopefully she will be able to keep some food down. Specific prayers would be for her to be able to eat and digest properly so she can MAYBE come home on Thursday!

Thanks for all the messages and prayers - we truly appreciate them.
