Journal entry by Julia Papenbrok

WBC count was 4.3, GR# was 3.1, Hgb was 9.1, and Plt were 265.  Went to have blood tests then chemo therapy at the Infusion Center.  I have to go earlier because I’m supposed to go to the Main Entrance to be tested with a thermometer and lots of questions.  (Good thing they don’t write down my answers because with cancer I have a stuffy nose pretty much all the time and nausea at least twice a week).   I’m so out of breath walking around as I go to the doctors office and then the Infusion Center.  If I walk too long my balance is affected so I start leaning too much one way or another.  My back  and left hip start to hurt  and I have a general feeling of  exhaustion.  Now I bring my walker  which helps me to move around as needed.  If I start to lean then I hold onto the  walker.  When my hip or back hurts too much or I feel like I need to sit down there is a bench on the walker.  My daughter got me the walker which was so nice of her.  Love 💕 julia
