I wanted to express my appreciation for the songs you children and Don chose for the funeral today. They were inspiring and so “Judy” if you know what I mean. My most vivid memories of her would be when they were first married. We also lived at Browns and I think we were their closest Mennonite neighbors. They had us over for a delicious meal. Then in 2015 Judy, Sharon and Barb stayed with us while visiting their mother at Bethel Home. We cousins had a grand time talking til late. Then when we were in Ga for a Conference Care Meeting we stayed with Don’s. We had such a good time. Barb and Judy took me shopping and bought me a cute tea towel that said something about mama said they act that way cause they’re not southern, bless their hearts! The word “sweet “ was used a lot in the memories today and I agree 100%. Love to you all.

One memory I have of Judy was when she first ever got glasses. She was young, just a girl at home with her folks. She looked out their kitchen window at the tree there. She exclaimed to her mom, "I can see the leaves!" Come to find out the tree had always been a blur to her.
