Journal entry by Lyle Mueller

Thank you, thank you for the abundant outpouring of love and support for Judy and our family. It means so much, and we have leaned into it mightily over the past weeks and days.

Tuesday...I kinda remember Tuesday but I spent most of the day in a daze. I woke up and needed a moment to reorient. This is not a dream. Judy really did pass last night, and is no longer physically here. I needed time to grieve and reflect, yet there's an urgency needed to plan, organize, connect with people, arrange, make decisions, give out my VISA number of the phone...in short, get on with it.

Funeral arrangements have been completed. Judy's obituary is on the Sandberg Mortuary website and Facebook, and will run in the Sunday St. Paul Pioneer Press. The memorial mass is scheduled for Monday, July 29th, 11:00 a.m. at Presentation Church, 1725 Kennard Street, Maplewood, Minnesota 55109. Visitation is prior to the service starting at 9:30 at the church. Our family is hosting a luncheon after the service at the Lake Elmo Event Center, 3712 Layton Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042.

Again, let me express my sincere and deep appreciation to the Fairview Home Health and Hospice teams. They were so helpful, supportive and empathetic as Judy's condition progressed. They knew Judy's desire was to die at home, surrounded by family and pet companions. They energetically helped us make that a reality. For that I will be forever grateful.

Thank you to you all from Team Judy
