Dear Yancy, I'm sorry for your loss.

Judy was my co-worker at GSA and we sit side by side for many years while working in the PBS Commissioners office. She was a beautiful soul. She taught me so much and was always there for me. She will be truly missed by many.

I know she was so pleased with all you've done and taking care of her.

I'm in total shock because I did not know your mother was so sick. Not long ago I sent her a happy birthday text but I did not hear a return. Knowing she was not well, I was still surprised not to hear back because she was always very punctual. Now I understand.

I always saw your mother as part of my family, and it hurts that I could not say goodbye.

Dear Yancy,
I met your mother when we were co-workers at GSA. Not only was she a delightful associate, she became a friend. My husband and I would gather at her home for annual seders, which were always an enriching experience. She always spoke so highly of her love for you and family. As years passed and we moved away, I lost touch. Yesterday we learned of her passing. We pray that she is at peace and we send our healing prayers to you and your family.
