Obituary
 
 

Judith K. Daher passed into eternal life at age 72 on October 13, Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Norma Jones, her brothers Earl Jr. and Richard Jones of Beaufort, N.C. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband, John, daughter Shelly Van Epps (Jerry Garigas), Eagle Michigan, Stepdaughters Julianne Daher (Corey) and Petra Daher, Lansing Michigan Step- Son Philip Daher (Kyoko), Ypsilanti Michigan, Grandchildren, Nick Van Epps Eagle Michigan, Tyler Combs, Grand Ledge Michigan, Katie Allardyce ( Rafe), and Great Granddaughter Lincoln of Kalispell Montana, Sister, Diane Lewis Otway, NC and Sister in Law Gloria Jones of Beaufort, NC, Niece, Rosemary Rentschler, (David) of Salt Lake City Utah, Grandnephew Mark Rentschler (Lindsay), of Chapel Hill N.C. Brother–in–law Mark Laforet (Kim)of Lansing and many Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews in North Carolina and Michigan.

Judi retired from the Lansing School District as a Teaching Assistant in the Kindergarten Readiness Program. While retired she knitted, sewed, read, gardened, enjoyed watching sports on TV with her husband, John, had an ingenious artistic flair, and loved to walk and bike and travel with John to California, Florida, and all parts in between. But her favorite travel choice was to go back to her popular hometown of Beaufort.

Judi met John at a Halloween party in 1974 and they were inseparable from that day forward. There will be a Funeral Mass held at St. Gerard Church on Tuesday, October 26, 10:30 am with visitation at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers please send all contributions to either Lansing Men of Orpheus Chorus or St. Gerard Music Ministry in her memory.
