Prayers for everyone and especially his family. Jud is not only a great man who I was proud to get to know and I feel honored to call him a friend. We both competed for NYAC back in the 80's and spend time together traveling overseas competing in track & field meets throughout the World. He meant a lot to so many others and his impact he's had on others is way beyond imaginable. He will truly be missed. Love ya old buddy. RIP my friend!

I don't even know what to say.

Jud was a person I was lucky enough to spend a large amount of time with years ago - it all seems like it was just yesterday. The one time we were able to connect since then, though it was almost 20 years since we had been able to see each other in person, it was as if we had trained together the day before.

Thank you my friend for all the memories I still hold dear.

Jill, I can only share a portion of the grief you and your family are feeling, but thank you for allowing those of us to share in a small part of his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rest in Peace my friend.

This has made me so very sad and I am thinking of Jill and the family often. I still remember Jill and Jud sitting on my couch when they were just teenagers visiting my sister-in-law at my house. I can honestly say that I never heard a bad thing about Jud; he was a good guy. To the Logan family: you have our deepest sympathies.

My heart breaks for Jill and family. My husband and I went to school with Jud and Jill many years ago. We remember them both as fun, kind people. We were thrilled to follow and hear how well he did at the Olympics and as a Coach. It seems from reading comments from his friends, athletes and family on various social media that he left an impact on many, many people and a lasting legacy. That is all any of us could wish for. How proud you must be of him. Jill you have been on my heart and in my prayers. I weep for you. I pray God's loving arms embrace you until you are with your Jud again. Bruce and Cheryl Meister

I am so sorry for your loss. I was not an athlete of his but my school actually competed against Ashland. He didn’t care what uniform you had on he was always willing to offer support, encouragement and tips to anyone. I loved seeing your dad at meets and enjoyed knowing him and who he was. He was a true leader and role model! Thoughts, prayers and strength to you and your family 🙏💜🦅

It is with extraordinary sadness that Judson Campbell Logan - our glorious friend, passionate coach, superb competitor, and beaming family man – has relinquished his distinguished life.

Let it be known that Jud did not succumb to his illness. As with every eminent challenge, Jud’s ardent passion ultimately led him to connect with Dick Logan, his illustrious father.

Jill, we all enormously understand that you are an absolute authentic angel. Your irrefutable dedication and unconditional love to Jud and your graceful family is the embodiment of devotion and admiration.

Jud’s favorite and most treasured topic was discussing his three crowned jewels – Nate, Jenna, and Kirsten. As you know, he was immensely passionate about everything in his life, but his excitability was at its loftiness and proudest when conversing about his extraordinary children.

Andy, Jeff, Whitney, Amy, and of course Gloria Logan – we have never met a family filled with such unimaginable optimism. It is said that many men and women greet us with their egos, but your family has always welcomed us with your expansive hearts. Your many years of warm friendship are luminously cherished.

Jud Logan was an undeniable force of nature filled with zealous enthusiasm. We will look forward to getting a colossal bear hug when reaching the other side.

It’s phenomenally unbelievable and incredibly implausible to fully comprehend that our remarkable, amazing friend has passed, but we will attempt to take comforting solace that his marvelous brilliance lives on forever. Our lives are infinitely superior for Jud’s intense competitiveness, affectionate friendship, and, most of all, kindhearted soul. Our demanding mission now is to vigorously pursue his passionate legacy as Jud Logan was, and always will be, our “Light Giver.”
