Joyce Yates Gardner, our friend, wife, colleague, teacher, counselor, etc., has perhaps entered the final phase of her transition in life. She is bedridden and mostly unable to communicate. She is pain free and seems to acknowledge visitors. 

Her hospice team from Endless Journey helps the staff at Meriwether care for her with compassion and professionalism.

Volunteer guitarist and singer, Cole, has performed for her several times. She loves music and we can tell she wants to get up and dance. 

Her relatives and friends are staying with her overnights to provide a comforting presence. Everyone’s loving thoughts and heartfelt prayers have wrapped her in love.
