Journal entry by Jill Smith —
Sorry no posts in quite a long while. Nothing medically major to report. He did have debridement yesterday. They had to scrape down to the bone. They also cleaned out his midline incision because the doc said it was looking mucky. He is still running a load grade fever. That is all for the medical news. Now for the GREAT nonmedical news. We are headed to Daytona tomorrow. They finally have a bed and we are going to a long term acute care hospital until he is ready for rehab. This kid has been through it and then some. Keep those prayers coming they are working!!
