Joseph’s Story

Site created on May 13, 2018

Friday afternoon May 11th, I took Joe to Waterman ER with severe headache confusion & high b/p.

He was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (brain bleed) & transferred via ems to FL hospital Orlando. We arrived around 10:30 in the Neuro ICU.  The Neuro surgeon has visited & as I write this he is down for a MRI of the brain. He is alert has no physical impairment however he has cognition & visual impairment. Continued treatment will depend on the MRI. Marc our son happened to be in Orlando @ a conference which was simply divine intervention! I will keep you all posted.

Journal entry by Sharon Nault

Great news today......no cardiac intervention or treatment necessary at this time. Joe is to return in 6 months for reevaluation and he will continue to be monitored 24/7 through the loop recorder (wherever he may roam)! They had nothing but praise & admiration for his recovery and progress. We of course know it is the power of prayer and faith. Next step is to repeat the MRI of the brain the first week of August and see the Neurosurgeon on 8/15/18 and we expect that to be good news as well. Life is good!

Again we can't thank everyone enough for the many prayers and amazing support.  Love & Blessings to all.
