Journal entry by Joseph Binns

Joe’s lymphoma has returned after nearly 5 years being cancer free. He will be receiving chemotherapy September 29 through October 1 each day at Duke. Then, he will be admitted as an inpatient beginning Sunday, October 3, to Duke Durham where he will begin CAR T cell therapy. They tentatively plan to discharge him on Monday, October 18.

Once discharged from Duke, he will have almost daily doctor visits back to Duke.

We have added dates in which help may be needed particularly after he is discharged or with Katie needing rides home from school. There are some nights she has cheer practice or games. Joe will not be able to drive for several weeks after being discharged.

Thank you all for your amazing support during this time. We appreciate all the prayers, texts and love that we have been given.
