Hi all.  Today is Jorie's 57th birthday.  The kids, extended family and I all miss her so much.  We feel her presence so strongly and yet her absence so profoundly.  However, we are also constantly reminded of her love of life, her humility, her empathy, kindness and compassion for others along with her great sense of humor and adventure and we will honor her today, on her special day, and every day forward for the rest of each of our lives.  As you think of Jorie, enjoy simple things like a Starbucks run, a thunderstorm, a great book or a really funny story, be kind and compassionate to others and find the joy and humor in daily life, and that is exactly how Jorie would want to be remembered.  Happy Birthday to our beautiful angel and Jorie, thanks for always being with us in mind and spirit and for continuing to inspire us to live life as fully and as joyfully as you did.  Thanks to everyone for your continued kindness, friendship and support.  We can't tell you how much it means to all of us.  In addition, we are still planning on holding a memorial celebration of Jorie's life later in the year and will let everyone know once we have that scheduled.  We have attached a few pictures of Jorie, taken on her birthday over the last couple of years that really capture her spirit.  Best to you and your families and stay safe and healthy and Happy Spring.
