Jordan’s Story

Site created on January 27, 2021

Thank you for visiting Jordan's Caring Bridge Site.  We are creating this site to make it easier for Amy to keep everyone updated on Jordan's recovery and any prayer requests.  This will free up Amy's time so that she can focus on caring for Jordan.  Jordan's family is so thankful and appreciative for the outpouring of love they have felt from family and friends.  Please visit this site for future updates and prayer requests.

Jordan's journey began on Monday, January 4, 2021,  when he was a passenger in a car involved in an accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury.  He was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas where he had emergency surgery to help relieve the swelling in his brain.  Jordan spent  21 days in the Trauma ICU under sedation so that his brain and body could regulate and heal.  On Sunday, January 24, Jordan was moved to a private room where he continues to receive physical and neurological therapy.  Jordan has already overcome so many obstacles throughout his recovery and we know that he will continue to work hard and fight to make a full recovery.  We are confident that Jordan will fully recover and we can't wait for you all to see that million dollar smile again!

We praise God for His protection over Jordan thus far and know He will continue to work miracles in Jordan's life.  We are casting all of our worries on Him knowing He has Jordan in His mighty hands.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7
