Jordan’s Story

Site created on July 12, 2019

Jordan was diagnosed with stage M (4) neuroblastoma in late June 2019 right before his 3rd birthday. We found out shortly before starting chemo on July 5th that it has spread to the bones and bone marrow. Jordan has been anything but short of amazing through the whole process. He has a long road ahead of him but his strength is inspiring. Jordan is our superhero.

Unfortunately we had to return to the hospital today but not because of a fever! Jordan needed a blood transfusion. He will actually receive 2 blood transfusions today because his levels were so low. We are thinking we will be discharged tomorrow after a platelet transfusion. On the bright side the 1st transfusion is almost complete and he has his laugh back, he is finally moving around and he is eating like he hasn’t eaten in days (he hasn’t)!!!!!!!
