Journal entry by Ellen Leathers —
Jon, Mike, Matt, and I discussed Jon's wishes for his day. The discussion turned into laughter and is a happy memory. Jon did not want any of us to be sad. His life was full of people, hobbies, interests, projects, stories, memories, and hopes.
Jon asked to be cremated, to be buried at Jefferson Barracks with Taps and the Flag Folding (no guns), and to have a BIG party in our backyard.
Jon's Memorial Service will be this coming Saturday, October 5 at 10 a.m.--St. Roch Catholic Church on Waterman Avenue.
The party: 6141 McPherson Ave.
THE MORE THE MERRIER!!
