Jonathan’s Story

Site created on January 9, 2022

It is with heavy hearts Jeff, Mari and Carmen Thomason share the news of the passing of their beloved Jonathan Thomason on December 24, 2021.

There was an unexpected complication from an autoimmune disorder and we believe it was God's plan to take Jonathan Home swiftly without suffering.

There will be a Memorial Service Celebrating Jonathan's extraordinary life..... date and time to be determined.

We thank you for all your thoughts and prayers while we pray for you, too, asking for God's everlasting peace to fill your hearts.

The name Jonathan means "Gift from God". Our Jonathan truly was as he touched the lives of family and friends with a joyful inner light. He was described by a favorite teacher to have "infectious enthusiasm" which always lightened the moment.

We miss Jonathan deeply but know he Lived wholeheartedly. Loved his family and friends while always Serving with a joyful heart. Jonathan truly taught us all how to Live and Love Life.......and now will forever be playing his extraordinary music for all the Heavenly Hosts on the streets of gold through eternity.

“Provide for me a man who can play well and bring him to me.” One of the young men answered, "Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the LORD is with him." 1 Samuel 16:17
