My heart breaks for your loss. I'm sorry. There really aren't words for what Johnny and you have gone through. The comfort we have is knowing he is sitting next to the Father and I'm pretty sure they are sharing a laugh. I'm praying for God's peace to fill the family.

While we did not spend a lot of time together with you all, any time we spent was joy-filled! Listening to John’s stories, gathering at Shanna’s, talking about Jesus and life, was such a pleasure!

We celebrate that he is now at peace with Jesus, and at the same time lift you all up in prayer knowing that you love him dearly and will miss him deeply, as will all those who have known him, either for a short time, or for years.

I pray that the God of comfort, who knows so much about sorrow, hold you closely and give you His peace that passes understanding at this time and in the future. You are deeply loved by Him! 🙏🏻💕

So kind of you to write that post and let all of us know that John is with Jesus. So Thankful to know that John didn't have great pain, sick feelings, and the Lord was gracious to you and the girls. You all have been on my heart for the past couple of months, and I knew the Lord was preparing all of you for John's transition home. You know John is happy as a clam right now!! I can't even imagine; but I did catch sight of him being VERY, VERY excited and Happy in Heaven. God Bless you Marina. Much love to you and the girls. The Lord is Near....

Was hoping/praying not to read a message like this. John ran the good race and is enjoying his reward but your/our pain will not diminish as quickly. May God wrap his arms around you and your family and hold you close...Keep us posted as to any needs we can help with.

Marina, John always was, and will continue to be, a force of truth and love in my life. He has been both a father figure and a friend. He will be dearly missed. I’m so sorry for your loss. Kelsey and I are here if you and the girls need anything.

Marina Megan and Nicole, so sorry for your loss, but thankful John is with Jesus. John had such strong faith in Jesus like none other. He was the first person to disciple me in 1989 and loved me well. I'm praying the peace and comfort that only Jesus can provide during this time over you all.

Still in a bit of shock that he is gone. He fought so hard, never wavering in his faith.
We grieve his loss and we will miss him. But heaven is just a breath away, and before you know it we will be with The Lord too for the biggest Family Reunion of all time…
