I will miss my colleague, buddy, partner in crime at the U.S. Department of State. He shared and taught me soo much and he was always caring, thoughtful, confident, competent, funny, outspoken and first class in everything he did. I could always count on him and he was devoted and committed to his work from start to finish. He had a memory like an elephant and was one of the wittiest persons I've known. He talked about Pam and his family all the time although he let us know here at State Department that we were his family too. He was so excited about moving into the new house and getting the TV all set up in his man cave. He attributed his good dressing to Pam and adamantly declared that she picked out all of his clothes and outfits. I've never known a stronger person that fought with so much might and optimism concurrently. I will never forget John and all the abundance he brought into my life. He was always a ray of sunshine and he will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends alike. I'm glad the pain has stopped but selfishly, I miss him dearly.

My sincere condolences to the Ward family. I pray comfort and peace to all who knew John. He fought a good fight and now he is resting in the bosom of our Lord and Savior; it is well with his soul.
