I cannot donate right now, but I have been listening to news on Facebook. It is an absolute miracle that John is alive today, isn't it!!! Wow! I had no idea that the aorta could be stitched together with hernia repair material!! Is my information right? I wonder if his Uncle Gary would be alive today if they had tried that with him? With Vernon it was fibrilation A.F. so I don't think they would be the same method. Just know we are amazed at the Lord's intervention here with John. PTL!
Please keep praying for John. He had a fever last evening, and this afternoon and evening. He feels great in the morning! Pray for all of us! Thank you.
Cheryl is now back in Taylors, SC with her family, getting some much needed rest, & also a chance to visit with son Connor before he is deployed (coming up soon). John is temporarily staying with us in our Barnardsville, NC home (during trach wound care, which Carolyn has been instructed in), & will then return to the house in Hendersonville, when he is medically stable enough to safely do so (staying on the main level, to avoid a full flight of stairs).
