Thinking of all of you. It’s hard to come up with words to bring any comfort... but I am sure that surrounding him in the last days and last moments with such love and care was a comfort to him and I hope to you as well. We will be watching for the details on celebrating his life together.

Oh, Shelly, I am so very, very sorry. I can't imagine how you and Karen must be feeling, and to have all this going on when many of your loved ones may not be able to be with you because they can't travel. That has to add to what is already unbearable grief. I hold you and the family in my heart and pray that some measure of peace enfolds you now and then in coming days and weeks.
