Hello all!
This is last minute but I wanted to let you know of an annual "Run for ALD" that happens in St. Louis where proceeds go towards research for treatments and a cure for ALD. This year, like so many things, the race will be virtual. The registration ends on Friday but if you want to participate, please follow the link below. Here is a little of info regarding the race: ALD is considered a rare disease so there are very limited grant funds; in order to initiate and continue life-saving research, the University of Minnesota Leukodystrophy Center depends on charitable donations. All funds raised from Run for ALD will directly benefit the University of Minnesota's ALD Research Fund to support their research efforts for early identification, more effective therapy and treatment options, and hopefully one day a cure for this devastating disease.
