Newest Update

Journal entry by John Hearn

Today has been most excellent so far. First, the catheter came out this morning without a hitch. (Well, not much of hitch, anyway.) So much better--now I am free to walk without hauling around a bag full of not lemonade. Jane and I walked the dogs this morning and later I got my first longer walk in--less than a mile, probably, but it all went fine. That's good news as walking will be the core exercise for the next few weeks.

Even better news: it appears I am largely continent from the git-go. Some guys just get lucky in that regard and maybe I'm one of them. I don't want to declare victory there, not at this juncture. Wouldn't. Be. Prudent. Still, if those early returns are any indication, it looks like the NoPee Party has a clear path ahead in 2019. That's critically important to success in the 2020 erection. Keep the dream alive!

I had a brief but sweet visit from yogi buddies Andrea and Judy who brought an avalanche of food, all of it lovely. We will be well-stocked heading into this blistering holiday weekend. To Judy, Andrea, Linda and Jennifer--thank you so much!

Stay tuned: next update will be my post-surgery pathology report, which I hope to have later today or tomorrow. Trying to keep my expectations in check there. Even if the report is clear, I will be tested every six months to make sure my old friend PCa remains at bay.
