Dear Julie,
You have been in my heart these months, and your writing here is such a poignant and gracious glimpse into your life that you feel closer than thousands of miles away. I’m glad the birds have been present for you, and friends and family have been there abundantly. I hope your time in Sayulita soothes your soul and that the holidays bring you joy along with the tears you’ve already shed. And I hope to see you in Sayulita or Seattle in the spring.
much love to you,
Sabrina

Dear Julie,
As I was doing a last stroll for the evening on my computer I saw a Caring Bridge entry thinking it was from someone else I know.
What a wonderful surprise to have it be from you.

I think I first met John and your family the day after Thanksgiving your first year in Seattle.
The kids had gone out to hit all the holiday sales.
Then I remember that year going to the Figgy Pudding contest and how you and John were amazed at some of the parodies in Liberal Seattle.
Has it been 10 years?
I'm glad your time In Kansas City was a good reconnection.
And now it is the holidays....
I have been thinking of you and I'm so glad you are going to Sayulita for Christmas.
I will think of you there when I am in California. I imagine this time will be challenging.

Much love and hugs to Arlo (and you.) What a cutie!
Pat
