Greetings,
I was just going to send you a card which I guess I still can do~
With all the ups and downs, I am glad John and you can still enjoy some normalcy. You know how to live.
I imagine Ellie the photo journalist used her skills to capture Arlo's grandfather's love and life.
I am so glad you had her there for her sake and yours.
Wow, a Bainbridge condo. How neat. I assume that was one of the pictures. I always love to go to Bainbridge!
Would you be up for meeting for lunch the end of this week or next (over here of course for now?)
If I can be of help at all also, let me know especially as you move (even though you are pros at this)
You both continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Much love,
John's treatment seems like such uncharted waters. I admire your ability to navigate this bumpy ride in a way that allows you to find joy in life every day. I think it's courageous, and hopeful, and confident toward all the things you can control, and peaceful and faith-filled toward those you can't. John's inclination to go for it has proven to be the right call so far. I hope and pray that this next round of immunotherapy is the same. Congrats on your new space, and glad you love grandparenting. Fondly, Pam
So appreciate this update, I think of you and John often and am hoping and praying for a positive outcome.
We just returned from the National Farmers Union Convention in Kansas City and a nice birthday weekend with our kids and grandkids in the Cities. We all had lunch together with some of my siblings and then went to dinner and theater at the Chanhassen. So many wonderful memories. I am so thankful for my friends and family. They all enrich my life in so many ways.
So thankful for you and John!💞
Thanks for the updates, Julie. Sending you all my good vibes and prayers as you take these next steps with John's treatment. Wonderful to hear about your time with Arlo, and Johnny's oral defense and fellowship. Brainbridge Island! Ever since I first went there (maybe 12 years ago or so?) it's been my fantasy to live there. So happy for you - hope the move goes smoothly. All the best, always.
I've been thinking of you guys all day and sending good karma, positive thoughts and lots of love and prayers! God bless you two and give you strength as you see how the infusion goes. John, you continue to teach and educate with your participation in new therapies and that's a gift that will continue to give. Julie, you're a pillar of strength. I'm glad you got a little time to rejuvenate yourself for this next round of treatment. Excellent explanation of the treatment Julie, for us non-medical folks. I'm gonna sign off now and go walk as I feel like a slacker since I only do 4 miles most days! Keep up your good attitudes and feel the love coming your way!
Praying for another good outcome with immunotherapy. Can't wait to see some pictures of your new place. A bird's nest in the trees sounds like a lovely vantage point for retirement. Enjoy!
