I pray and pray for you, for healing, for doctors, for strength and understanding, for your family, you are all so dear to us. For love, for guidance, for healing, for sunshine and warmth on your soul and body, for smiles and laughter. For time. For the sounds of life, water, birds, leaves in the breeze, laughter. For the smell of fresh rain, new spring flowers, good black dirt! Hold on, hang in there. We love you! Kathleen n Frank

John and Julie - I finally got "MESSENGER" to work. (Age hasn't helped my technology know how). I have spent a little time "catching up" with what you have been dealing with these past several years. Keep up the good fight and optimism I see in your posts. You both have always been optimistic about the future and it shows here. Jan and I will be keeping you both in our prayers and thinking of you often. Enjoy the new condo!

Your new condo feeling like a nest in the trees, and the beautiful photos of dear baby Arlo enjoying time with his loving grandpa and grandma, and the scenes of the ocean makes me think of a poem I love and hope you do, too:

“The Peace Of Wild Things”
by Wendell Berry

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Nothing but peace and hope, and confidence in science AND the soul for success in treatment. We are with both of you, in the grace of this world. As Spring blooms, know you are loved and so many have you on the mind, in the heart, and always in prayer.

I love following this challenging journey of yours. I can feel your love for one another and devotion to your family. A condo in Bainbridge Is. ... wow what a vacation spot that is. I love our Pennisula life style and you will too. God bless as you continue to find your answers.
