What a heart-breaking, but so eloquently expressed story, Susan. It was through the Hidden Treasures Historic Home Tour that I got to know you as a neighbor, and enjoyed the conversations we had. When Jill Wahman told me about the accident I had to follow it on Caringbridge. My heart goes out to you and your family. John was very brave, but so are you, and your beautiful descriptions of your life together, including after the accident, will remain with me forever.

I am away on vacation and just saw this terrible news. I am so sorry I was not there. Your family will be in my prayers!!! It’s good knowing John has complete healing and is already pedaling away down the golden streets.

Love and peace and prayers. We have been with my sister and brother in law , Lori and Dave LaPorte this week. We have been sharing fond Egbers family memories this entire week, including impromptu cuppucino’s, fires in the backyard, football games, motorcycle rides, deep conversations, laughter... and we all send Love peace and prayers.
