John’s Story

Site created on April 24, 2021

Welcome to our village for the one and only John Bass. John is trying to beat COVID 19 and get back to living and loving. He deteriorated very quickly after getting COVID 19. He was taken by ambulance on Tuesday April 13 with a fever and shallow breathing and by that night was in the ICU on a ventilator. At this time he is working hard to get off the ventilator at Kindred Care rehabilitation hospital. He can have visitors, one at a time, M-Sat 1 pm to 6 pm, The folks at Wellington regional ICU were amazing, working around the clock and staying in touch constantly! We are equally grateful for the outpouring of love, and offers of help, from John’s beautiful village of friends and family. Thank you!
