Deb and Family - my heart is broken to hear the news of John's passing. My sincerest sympathies to you and your entire family. It has been my incredible privilege to know John for 30 years, and work with him for a decade until his retirement. John made the office fun, and business travel an adventure, never passing up the opportunity to explore a new city - occasionally unintentionally when my navigating skills failed - or seek-out an out of the way restaurant. His curiosity and joie de vie was infectious. John was an impeccable professional, and consummate gentleman. A dear friend to all who knew him, a man who loved life, and most importantly, loved his wonderful family. We will miss his smile, and his grace.

Maschoff family, you have my family’s deepest sympathies as you mourn John. I simply loved working with him at Winslow. He was always one of my most encouraging, upbeat and kindhearted colleagues. Quick with a great story and very interested in everyone’s goings on. Deb, Carla and I always loved and looked forward to our chats with you two at company gatherings. We have missed you and can only imagine how much you miss John. God bless you all.
