Thank you for the update, Courtney! It was heart lifting to have a chance to interact with Johan briefly the other day and feel his good spirts and appreciation. I hope self-care for you stays on the list!

Oh Courtney, I'm so glad to read this detailed entry which really gives me a good picture of what's going on. I thrill at Johan's progress but get that he still is facing many challenges. Obviously you both are. But the graph is going in the right direction and you have such support from an amazing community. I continue to send positive vibes to Johan and think of your whole family often with great love.

Courtney, you are working so hard with determination and love, please give yourself grace. Balls will drop! It was a privilege to visit with you and Johan yesterday for dinner drop off. Johan is still his smiling and warm self, even with all the challenges! That was amazing that Johan remembered Ren's name and asked what college she accepted, and he knew Freja was going abroad. Huge wins!! Hang in there with all the ups and downs. We all love you and your family. I will be there on Wednesday to support Tindra with her Senior Speech, what a huge rite of passage. Great work parents, both girls are amazing!

Thanks for the update. Things are growing great at Brookdale , too. I have spent some time pulling weeds and general spring activities. Looking forward to your visit to Brookdale when ever you are ready.
