Hi guys my apologies for not writing sooner. Lots going on. I have sad news to report. Joes sister Karen passed this morning after a long battle. She had a brain tumor and ovarian cancer. She was a true angel who did not have It so easy these past few years. I will miss her forever. As soon as I know the arrangements I will post them here.
Some of you know but I can’t remember anymore who i told and who I didn’t. Joe is back on chemotherapy. The last medicine he was on worked great until It didn’t. The good news is he is in much better shape fighting the cancer this go around. The plan is to be on this chemo once every three weeks until It stops working. The genetics of his tumor has changed again. The BRAF gene is now causing his cancer to grow. Here is the good news. There is FDA approved medication out there that can slow down his cancer. He doesn’t need a clinical trial and as soon as his doc gives the go ahead he will get the new medication.
