Here is an update from Joe:
Just wanted to check up with everyone and say hi.
Recovery is going well. I walked over 11k steps the other day and was able to walk 3/4 of a mile continuously. Starting to do push ups and sit ups to build strength back. I have been experiencing side effects from covid and the coma. But there is hope they lesson or disappear with time. All of your support keeps me going and I appreciate all of you who have helped me along the way while I recover. The recovery process is mentally challenging just as much physically. I don't want this to turn political or what have you, but I am a walking billboard to get vaccinated. Covid is real and not a joke. I am getting my vaccine on Monday. The drs say that will hopefully help with the side effects I've been having.
Thank you all for everything the well wishes, the prayers, and the money you have donated. All of it helps me so much to get thru of all of this. I am so grateful for being alive and the family and friends I have.
