Today around 7pm this evening Joel joined Beth in heaven.  He took his last breath surrounded by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and sons.  He passed peacefully without struggle.  We had been in hospice since Thursday, and tonight was the first night that Wil, Paul, and I were in the room together.  He must have been waiting for All of us to be there.  This is the end of one chapter, and the new begins.  It will take some adjusting to our new normal.  Thank you for the support during this journey and thank you in advance for the support we will receive.  Our family has survived the death of one parent and will survive the death of the other.  We will be okay.
