Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. I appreciate your support and encouragement.

On Thursday, May 24th 2018 I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. A benign mole on my forehead, which I've had since birth, morphed into a cancerous tumor 3cm across, 1cm tall, and 8mm deep. This site will provide updates on my treatment as it proceeds and my life as it evolves. I'm fully devoted to aggressively defending my health from this dangerous and inconvenient cancer, and I'm confident that with your support I'll be free to continue on the path laid for me both stronger and wiser.

MD Anderson Boot Walk to End Cancer

I have just created a team named "Remembering Joel Parker" for the MD Anderson Boot Walk to End Cancer.  
 
Please click on the link below and when you get to the page select "JOIN THIS TEAM."  You may make a donation if you wish, or simply join the team and help to raise money by sharing the link yourselves.  Whether you walk here with us in Houston, on November 4 or in your own neighborhood, all money raised goes to cancer research.  As long as there are no bees (and since it's November we do stand a chance here) I think this would be Joel approved.  Even if you can't do the walking, you can share this link via email or social media.  Invite ANYONE to join our team to raise awareness and money to help end cancer.
