Hi, Carolyn Baumann here, fellow piano teacher of Susan at LPS. This is so thoughtfully written, and beautifully expressed. God has showed me over the years that through our losses God can use that to help others with similar losses as ours. It may not seem like it in the moments of grief, but God shows us it to us at a later time when we least expect it. I lost two babies in a row, the second even more difficult to cope with than the first, at the time. Months after the second, God put several other mothers, younger than I in my path, going through the same, asking for help. It was not a complete answer to the "Why?" But in reflection, it did give my losses "a purpose" if you will. Many are still keeping you in prayers, and are uplifted also by your statements coming from deep faith in Jesus love for you! God bless.

To me I hear you say "God is answering everyone's prayers and I am taking tiny steps with His help" This makes everyone of us thank God and continue in prayer for you and the family. Thank you for increasing my faith with your tender words.

We will most definitely "keep it up"! May you continue to feel our prayers for you and for your family, Hannah... The exposition of your "mama heart" ~ the heaviness you are feeling in the midst of the hope ~ is so real. I will continue to pray with you that your suffering is not wasted ~ but is used for His glory and for your refinement. "He didn't suffer so we wouldn't have to; he suffered so we'd know how to." (Chris Stefanick)

And I love your faithfulness to the sacredness of the present moment. May we all grow in our appreciation of that gift...

Please continue to lean on the Simons in your life ~ as we all continue in this pilgrimage... Big hug!

I have thought of you all often and continue to pray for you. We keep Joel's memorial card on the fridge, and in that way he and your family are thought of daily.♥️
