I haven’t seen Joe in well over 30 years. I just heard today how sick he is. I am so sorry Joe has to go through this.
If Joe’s adult life is anything like when we were kids, the people around him were better for it. When I first moved to Irondequoit from the city Joe was the first to welcome me and talk to me at Ivan Green ( them it was Whipple Lane). I have never forgotten that and that was 45+ years ago.
May Joe and his family find peace. Keep playing those drums Joe. I wished we stayed in contact.

Joe, I have always enjoyed our bantering at work, when we would be discussing client issues. You made troubleshooting fun, and I appreciate that. May you and your family find comfort and peace during this time.

I didn't know Joe very well. He would come into the bowling alley to visit with his father and big brother Gerry from time to time. Early on in our relationship with Gerry and the Banana Man as Scott liked to call Joe Sr., we started ranking on Gerry as boys will do to other boys. Joey jumped right in and joined in. Gerry's been keeping us updated on Joey. We felt the overexaggerated highs and the punch to the gut lows that a cancer fight will bring. All the while, they both kept their heads up and persevered as only those that are faced with that illness can do.
Joe may have been given a number by the doctors based on statistics, but the only stat that matters is that Joe and his body are going to fight for as long or as little as they physically can. Cancer won't beat Joe because Joe already beat it by the way he lived his life.
At some point in all of our lives, we no longer have the ability to physically touch those we love, but they live on in a tree they planted in the yard or in Joe's case, clutching his favorite pair of drum sticks or seeing the positive influence he's had on his family.
I hold Joey and the entire Indovina family up in celebration of a life fulfilled.

This breaks my heart to hear. :( I have worked with Joe for years (I think at least 30?). He is always so cheerful, and has a smile on his face...whether I saw him in the office, or ran into him outside of the office. He made working a lot of fun. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe, and his whole family.

Joe and Family - Prayers are being sent as this is being written. Joe is one of nicest people to whom, when I contacted him for help (always for help!) with a client, he always responded and set aside time to teach me, teach the clients, and share what he knew. Please know you touched, and positively impacted, many people in your career. Even though I never knew you on a personal level, the way you worked as a professional was top-rate, #1, the BEST. Wishing you comfort every hour of every day.

While Joe and I never met in person we worked together often, he would joke sometimes to much. He was always so helpful and cheerful. I never knew he was dealing with so much. My prayers and thoughts are with Joe and his family.
