Jodi’s Story

Site created on October 20, 2021

My mother, Jodi, has had a long and courageous battle against Breast Cancer.

In 1998 she was diagnosed as Stage II. After enduring treatment, she was considered "cancer free" until 2009 when she discovered a new lump and it was confirmed as Stage IV with mets.

Over the last decade Jodi has never lost her faith, positive attitude, or sense of humor.

In January 2021 the cancer spread to Jodi's brain. Again, she endured multiple treatments including radiation and chemotherapy.

As of October 2021 Jodi has made the decision to stop treatment and begin her hospice journey.
