Day 5 Post Chemo: Robin has spent the night the last 2 nights cooking and waiting on me. Honestly, between CarolAnn and Robin taking shifts it has been truly a god-send. I didn't realize what a difference not being alone would be. And what a gift to have friends that are with you warts and all. So, although chemo rounds are cumulative and this last one (#3) should have been more 'janky' the time has moved at a better pace and here I am, almost through the yucky's. Feeling very grateful.
So, even though today will be a quiet and slow moving day, I'm inching to the other side where energy and spirit are lifted.
Thank you all for your well wishes and food delivery. We're still trying to figure out how to make this site more user friendly, especially with the food portion. Any suggestions?
One last thing, I know my profile photo is not-so-good. I really don't look that bad. Trying to replace it. ha ha!
