I had the pleasure of knowing Jo through my mom, Lenore. I always had so much fun with Jo when I visited, almost always involving margaritas. I know she was a good friend to my mom and to me as well. You’ll be missed but know you are in peace and watching over everyone

Well, JoJo, where to start?! There are so many wonderful memories of the times we spent together - some I can clearly remember --- others not so much! The one we just reminisced about last week was our favorite. The half slip caper at Fitzwillies! I was blessed to hear you laugh at that memory. Remember how many times we all (you, me Lenore, Nise, and Nickie) just forgot to eat dinner but still managed to rack up a very hefty tab?? We definitely had guardian angels with us on those nights. Now I hope you'll be my guardian angel. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will live in my heart forever.

It was a real blessing to be in Pinehurst last week to say goodbye to Jo. We married in 1953, and she has remained a close friend and a wonderful mother to our daughters Joy and Ann. She will be greatly missed.

Little did I know when I met Jo in 1983 that I was meeting my best friend. Jo was many things to me...my comforter in difficult personal times, my movie and dinner
companion each weekend, and a loyal and true friend. Our only disagreement came during football season....she was a Bears fan and I a Cowboy fan. We missed
spending time during the last few years with my move to Virginia but we spent many hours on the phone catching up. I raise a glass in toast to my best friend and a
wonderful woman wishing you much peace and I know you are now pain free. Sleep well dear friend ...you will be missed.

We were so glad we were able to be there this week. We had lots of good time with Jo, Ann, Sean, and Gilbert. It was good to hear Jo interact with Joy on the phone along with friends who called to check in. She was a strong, gracious lady to the end.
