Hi Everyone. JoanMarie was sent to Sutter in Santa Rosa after an appointment with her General Doc on Friday. There was a concern about infection and possible abscess. She stayed at Sutter until late last night at which point she was transferred to Stanford. She did receive IV antibiotics at Sutter. After being evaluated by doctors at Stanford they determined that she was well enough to go home today.
My brother, Joe has spent the past 4 days caring for her and making sure nothing is overlooked.

She knows you have been calling and checking in on her but she is too exhausted to respond.

Please give her some time to get her strength back. Everything related to her original surgery is healing well. She is doing much better but needs a few days of rest at home.
Thanks!
Jeanine
