What a beautifully written obit you kids wrote! It’s a wonderful tribute to a woman who was so beautiful inside and out and is so dearly and deeply missed. Thinking of and praying for all of you. This isn't easy. 🙏

Such a BEAUTIFUL tribute to your wonderful Mom! She truly touched SO many lives with her unwavering faith! Our BSF group had a Zoom meeting yesterday, and we all said how much we missed Joan and how much her life and testimony had impacted all of us! Just know your family is in my heart and in my prayers during this difficult time!

Love you Macey, Allison and Rob and LOVED your precious mama so deeply. What a special privilege it was to know her and witness the grace, beauty, and wisdom she exuded and the incredible example of faith she was in the midst of incredible trial and pain!! You are all never more than a breath of prayers away... each of you! And those prayers will continue for comfort and love and assurance of the real and lasting HOPE we have in Christ!! Hugs to you all!

Dear Allison, Macey and Rob,
My words can not describe what an amazing lady your Mother was, absolutely beautiful inside and out!. Many will learn from her strength and great faith, and this includes myself. May your sorrow and tears soon turn to joy as you remember all the wonderful memories you all shared. God Bless you all💕

My heart is breaking for you. You were surely blessed with an amazing mom and from knowing you, you must have truly learned some rare wisdoms from her along the way. We lean not on our own understanding but rely on God.) proverbs 3:5) when things like this happen. Love is hard to describe but we look to Jesus for all our comforts annd bask in his examples of grace.

I lost my mom when I was 18 and I can tell you that it’s not going to be easy to adjust without her. She got to know each of you three kids in time of need and you can be proud of that for the rest of your lives. By being good kids and good mothers, you will be honoring her everyday. Thanks for listing both your late grandpa and your wonderful grandma Murph in her obituary. I consider them two if our closest friends. Your mom is listening to one of Bobs stories probably right now in heaven. With Gods help, you will all get this rough spot, god bless the Evans family. You’re in our prayers.

What an incredible tribute to your mom - it certainly gives me such a wonderful picture of who she was, although I didn't personally know her. And you are so right - she left you the best gift... a foundation of faith for generations to come! Continuing to pray for your family.
