So very happy you've graduated to rehab! Now give it all you've got toward a complete recovery. You've got a lot of fans cheering you on from the stands!! One step at a time and feel good about each and every goal met. You can do it, Jim! Love, Anna & Bev
Hi Jim, So did they have a big Welcome Home party on your arrival at your temporary digs??? Maybe some of your favourite cake as a welcome present would be a bonus. Such a big adventure in your life and the move I imagine would be unsettling but you will soon be flying again and will be charming everyone around you. Wish we could be there to come visit but they won't let us out of Australia presently. More than 70,000 applications to leave Australia have been rejected due to the pandemic. Thank goodness we did some travel with you, not knowing what was ahead. Our thoughts are with you and we trust your progress continues to be upward and onward. You can do it mate.
Don't get too discouraged, it hasn't been but a few days since the surgery. Neurosurgery is a slow process to heal from. I was in a rehab for 2 months after neurosurgery and came home in a wheelchair but within a year and a half I walked a 5x. I didn't think I'd ever walk again. It's hard work but I know Jim and when he regains some strength I feel like he'll be able to recover well. One day at a time.
