Jimmy’s Story

Site created on September 21, 2018

Jimmy, a minister of worship in Raleigh, NC, husband to Katie, father to James and Judah, has had known chronic kidney disease since age 19. It was stable until August 2018. We learned at the age of 34, Jimmy's kidneys are failing significantly, and he needs a kidney transplant. He will need to start dialysis as early as next summer. We are faithfully praying that God would bring a perfect "living donor" match for Jimmy to help save his life, and ideally before he needs dialysis.  He is also on the national waitlist for a kidney. We continue to put our hope and trust in Jesus, and have peace as we surrender this journey ahead back to Him.  We have so much to be thankful for!
We love you all, and can't thank you enough for your support and encouragement!
