I'm a friend of Lynnette and Joe from when we were all in our 20s. And even though that was so very long ago, I still remember (and always will) how welcoming and loving you and Marilyn always were.
I'm pretty new to the whole dad thing (mine just turned three), and while I think I have a handle on the basics, it's examples such as yours that I rely on when it comes to actually being a father. Thank you for making me that much more better at it. I can use all the help I can get, believe me.
And I'll never forget that red BMW 2002 (or was it a 1600?) that Lynnette got to drive around in. I was pretty jealous. Still am.

We have made so many memories together. I have been remembering some of them. All our vacations together, Vegas trips, the dry lake with dirt bikes. Ontario Speedway, Somis, river trips and so many more. I am so lucky to have you in my life. Love you 😘
