Mr. Mahoney was my favorite teacher. He taught me how to believe in myself. Even after 20 years I think of him often. I am eternally grateful to have know him. He was an inspiration.

It was a lovely service, though seeing the empty church was heartbreaking. Your dad was a great role model for a lot of us – even now, as adults. I loved to seeing him and your mom come into the coffee shop-he was so kind and so patient. I remember one day he said to me, "She got up pretty early today. Made the bed.“ Then he looks at me sideways and says, “I was still in it.“ 😉 He will be missed. (Jean Pinegar Baker, Johnston Class of 1982)
