I knew Jim as ‘Jimmy’. We worked together for 2 + years in Cleveland. We worked together through Covid and he was the type of guy that made sure I had hand sanitizer even when no one else could find it. Jimmy grew from a co-worker to a mentor and friend to me. He was one of the best person I’ve ever met. My sympathies to his family. I can’t even imagine how much it hurts because this is hurting me hard as well.

My deepest sympathies to the Lanning family. I only met Jim briefly, but in that time, I could tell he was a generous and caring man. I have heard from so many just how wonderful of a person he was. My thoughts are with his family and caregivers as they live with this incredible loss.
